We believe that accident prevention is both a moral obligation and good business. The protection of our employees, the public, and the environment is essential to the efficient and successful completion of every project. We pride ourselves on completing high-quality projects on schedule and on budget, but nothing – including costs or deadlines – ever justifies compromising on safety. Protecting the health and safety of our employees and others on the job-site goes far beyond simple compliance. Our safety policies and guidelines are emphasized to employees from their first day of employment. These are provided, taught, and emphasized as guides for all activities of Edgett staff and subcontractors on every project. Our joint health and safety committee is a dedicated group of management and staff, with expertise to implement, train, and monitor safety policies and guidelines. Inspections, audits, and procedural upgrades occur regularly because of our commitment to safety.
For each project, our Health and Safety plan is supplemented with job-site specific details related to safety hazards, task method statements, hazardous material information, and daily focus on risk mitigation and safe operations.
